The CTP Examination consists of 170 multiple-choice questions reflecting globally recognised standards in treasury management. It is developed and updated every three years by experienced treasury and finance practitioners.

Key competency areas tested: corporate liquidity management, cash positioning and forecasting, treasury operations optimisation, financial ratio analysis, capital structure management, long-term borrowing strategy, risk monitoring and control, regulatory compliance, benchmarking best practices, and assessing the impact of technology on treasury.

  1. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a corporate cash/treasury management or finance-related role.
  2. A completed Master’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, or business may substitute for one year of the required experience.
  3. Candidates may sit the exam before fully satisfying the requirements but will not receive the credential until all requirements are met.
